What spiritual leaders are saying:

"This was the first time any Christian had ever reached out to meet me. We shared much more than tea. After just one hour together it was as if we had known one another for a very long time. We shared about our families, where we grew up and things that bring us joy. We will meet again, but this time, not as strangers, but as friends."

– Imam in Central Tennessee

"Being well traveled, I had often sat next to physicians or engineers who were Muslim. Each time I came away having had a rich and valuable experience. When I was offered an opportunity as a Christian leader to meet with a local Imam, I will admit I was a bit nervous, but I thought of all those prior positive experiences. Any apprehensions went away when I met a local Imam. I was treated with the utmost respect and amazing hospitality. Although we spent only 90 minutes together, we agreed, it had taken too long for us to meet and look forward to the next time."

– Christian Pastor

"Thank you for the opportunity to meet and spend time together. Our time together was very hopeful. As I shared when we met, we Muslims are often avoided by Christians. We share the same gas stations, drive on the same roads, yet we are often made to feel like perpetual foreigners. I sensed honor from you when we met, for which I am grateful and my hope is that you felt honored in return. I look forward to meeting again."

– Imam in East Texas

"I had the opportunity to visit our local mosque and meet with our local Imam. As a Christian leader, it was encouraging to make such an important connection. Our conversation was uplifting and enlightening. I look forward to getting together again."

– Christian Pastor in the Midwest
